My dream school is Oxford and I would love to live anywhere near the area just to be able to constantly visit the library.

I’m pretty boring in that my Eye color is actually just brown. While a few have called it pleasant, I’ve always found them to be quite dark.

I used to have a best friend but we had a massive falling out recently where she said some pretty unnecessary stuff that made me quite upset. If there’s anyone I constantly blabber with though, it’d probably be Katie. ^^

the-unpopular-opinions: I don’t even care about celebrities. I care about people trying to control my thoughts, emotions, and ACTIONS by toting around pictures of naked African children. I have a mind of my own and I can do and think and feel whatever I want. I’d rather be bummed over Heath Ledger or Brittany Murphy than guerilla warfare in a country I’ll never go to and will probably be renamed by the time I give a fuck. First, I’d like it to be on the record that I am not racist. I have nothing against any individual based on their race. I have friends of most races and of many different personalities. I’m not even African! Thus, I feel no shame, guilt, or fear of reproach for saying what I am about to say. Most of us have taken a standard history class and can probably explain some of Europe’s interactions with Africa. That being said, Africa should not be in the state that it currently is. It is a continent with an abundance of natural resources. In fact, it was once one of the greatest civilizations, surpassing Europe for quite some time. So how is it that a continent that should have possibly one of the greatest Economies of any other land mass in the world has become plagued as it has? While there are many reasons, one stands out above the rest: European interactions. More specifically, white people messing things up. It’s not racist. It’s not ignorant. It’s true. I’m not going to bother going into the specifics but that’s basically where my problem with this sort of idiocy originates from. Africa would not be in the situation that it is now if it hadn’t been so abused. Do you honestly think that the people of Africa want to be at the mercy of those who had enslaved them, attempted to conquer their land, brought them to the state that they are now? No. They have pride just as much as anyone else. But because of what the Whites of the past have done to them, they aren’t at a state where they can take care of themselves. So yes, I think that America shouldn’t be going around and poking its nose into people’s business. But this is different. America & Europe owe Africa for the injustices committed. They are in debt for their transgressions and should feel as if it is their duty to aid the continent. I have nothing against white people but when stuff like this is said, I get upset. Stop saying that you’ve got your own problems to deal with, they didn’t have a choice in the way they were treated. Stop being ignorant and learn the facts. Africa shouldn’t be where it is now. It’s so much better than that.
